Oatmeal playdough makes a great alternative to standard playdough and since you don’t have to cook it, it makes a great playdough recipe for kids to do as a craft project with you.
Ingredients for this oatmeal playdough recipe:
- flour – 1 cups
- oatmeal – 2 cups
- water – 1 cup
Directions for this oatmeal playdough recipe:
- Mix the oatmeal and flour together in a bowl
- Slowly add water to mixture
- Knead the mixture until it is smooth and uniform
- Add some coffee grounds or cornmeal to try different textures
You will notice that this oatmeal playdough recipe will be a little bit sticky after you make it. That is quite normal and different from the rubbery playdough recipe or the traditional recipe for playdough.
